The tide doesn't leave quietly.

It pulls back through the stones, carving channels in the wet sand, swirling around everything it can't take with it. For a moment — just a moment — the beach looks like this. Raw, glistening, alive with the memory of the water.

The Pull is a 12" × 24" original acrylic painting inspired by Black Point Beach in Ingramport, Nova Scotia. The vertical format draws you down into the foreground, into the intricate patterns the receding tide leaves behind — dark stones half-buried in wet sand, the water still threading between them, and the wide grey Atlantic stretching out to the horizon beyond.

This is a painting about that moment. The one most people miss because they're looking at the waves instead of what's underneath.

Painted on gallery-wrapped canvas with finished edges, this piece is protected with professional-grade coatings and arrives ready to hang. Each original includes a signed letter of authenticity.
